The new issue of Boston magazine (November 2008) has a comprehensive article called The Food Fanatic's Shopping Guide. It tells you where to find a wide assortment of ingredients, from olives to oysters, bacon to beef. It is more than just a list of food markets and shops, though it has a handy sheet you can cut out and carry with you. It also includes some facts and background information on some of the ingredients, as well as some cooking advice and recipes.
