The Beehive: Mother's Day Celebration

The Beehive, in the South End, is going to treat your Mom right for Mother's Day.

Enjoy The Beehive’s delicious brunch, prepared by executive Chef Rebecca Newell, from 10am-4pm, while listening to the sultry Jazz-Soul sounds of Lydia “Lovely Singer” Harrell from 10am-1pm. Described as Beautiful, deep and ferocious, Harrell has performed in venues from Las Vegas to New York, as well as, performing with the Boston Pops.

The Beehive’s next performer, Michelle “Evil Gal” Willson, takes the stage from 1pm-4pm. Acknowledged by aficionados of Jazz and Blues as a passionate and gifted performer, Michelle Willson has recorded and released 4 critically acclaimed albums for Rounder/ Bullseye Records. Before signing with Rounder, Michelle’s group won a prestigious W.C. Handy award for best unsigned blues act as a result of their win at the Blues Foundation’s International Blues competition - and Michelle was later nominated for a (best female blues vocal) Handy alongside Etta James and Koko Taylor.

If brunch isn’t not your thing, check out The Beehive later in the day for dinner from 5pm-1am. Enjoy afternoon music provided by the soulful jazz sounds of Cece Kim from 5pm-8pm. Finally, stay on and enjoy The Beehive’s continuing series Soulful Sundays from 8pm– Midnight featuring some of Boston’s best soul performers.

Regular menu served à la carte and Reservations are highly recommended!

Dinner: 5:00PM-1:00AM (Bar until 2:00AM)
